Disappearing Bookmarks

I received a new service pack from Microsoft via the
Internet earlier this week. After I installed the new
service pack, I started Explorer 6.0 and found that all of
my bookmarks/favorites had been erased!

Does anyone know if or how I can retrieve my old
bookmarks, or do I have to start from scratch? Thanks for
any assistance you can provide.

How did you receive a service pack from MS.
Did you ask for it?
If not then you have been hacked. MS never sends service pack or fixes for
that matter.

Check for virus.

Also parasites.
