Disabling the Start Button

I have been given a task of disabling the start button on
all computers in a large networked environment.

Thus far, the best option appears to be a login script.

Any other suggestions?
 
This strikes me as a REALLY dumb thing to do!
I certainly won't advise on how to do it!
 
A login script might not work since you probably have to have local
admin rights to make such a change in the registry.

How 'bout you run a script on your machine, but make the changes on the
registries remotely using something like reg.exe?
