Disabling Powertoys task switcher

Can someone advise on how to remove or disable the advanced task
switcher.

I installed some components of Powertoys (they were selected from a
list which the Powertoys installation file gave me when it ran).

One of the components I installed was the the advanced task switcher
which show more info in the task switching popup window. I want to
uninstall it but how do I do this?

I can't even locate where Powertoys is installed to and I can't see
the task switcher component in Add/Remove Programs. I don't really
want to remove all the Powertoys.

I have XP Pro.

hi,

the option for changing the features of powertoys are
avaiilable in Add/Remove programs and u can click on the
change button to remove only the advanced task switcher.

rajesh, I didn't realise I could go into the add/remove program and
still have an option. thx!

Hi Grice,

Go to Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs/Powertoys for XP/Change or
Remove. Uninstall the task switcher.

And/or Go to Start/Run and type in msconfig. Click the Startup tab and
uncheck startup item taskswitch. After restarting your comptuer, Windows
reverts back to the classic task switcher.

To remove the listing from Msconfig:
