Disabling Outlook Express

I'm trying to make the switch from OE to Outlook 2003, but I find if I go to
OE for newsgroups, OE will receive any incoming email, which I don't want
there - I want in the Outlook folders. Is there a way to keep OE from
doing this? (using XP Home SP, comcast).

Remove any mail accounts you've got setup in Outlook Express. You can also
try starting OE only from shortcut that includes either /outnews or
/newsonly on the command line
