Hi all,

is it possible to disable and/or uninstall a single ActiveX control
(Trend Housecall) from IE6, in windows 2000?
(XP Has an Activex disabling control panel but I can't see it in Win2k)

thanks

Ok,
meanwhile I gathered that the solution is:

Go to

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options

Click the General tab, then the following buttons;
Settings
View Objects

you can then right click the activex and the "remove". (be careful not
to remove
any system required Activex's there, I think "Performance Viewer
Activex Control" is one)

No disable option though.

Open IE -> Tools -> Options -> Settings button -> View Objects -> right
click the ActiveX control -> Remove.
