"Disabled" NIC

Hi,

Have this weird problem occur every once and while.

Network cards on PC workstations (Windows 2000 Pro) itermitantly and not
frequently become "disabled" without user intervention?

Any ideas as to why this may happen?

i have a customer with the same problem. have you managed
to find any info or fix?

I too had the same problem about a month ago. I set a policy for that
machine, to prohibit the disabling of network connections in group policy,
and the problem has not surfaced since.

However in my case, I assumed user fiddling as the cause.
