Disabled Macros

After adding a macro to a workbook, I now seem to get a
message every time I try to type something into a cell
saying :

" The Macros in this Project are disabled. Please refer
to online help or documentation of the host application to
determine how to enable macros."

I cannot find the relevant instructions in Excel Help -
also, why does this message appear in other spreadsheets
that I open, even when they have no macros in them?

Hi Kim,

The problem might be that your macro security is on high.
When you open up Excel try Tools> Macro> Security on the
top toolbar, and then check if 'High' is selected. You'll
want to select 'Medium', and then see if the macros work
now!
