Disabled internet options General Tab

Hope you all can help me on this one. Yesterday after some
internet surfing my browser (IE6) had a home page forced
on it. Furthermore, when I click on Tools, Internet
options, the Menu is missing the General tab where one set
home page, clears history etc.
How can I restore this?

Try To See If It Spyware Or Something Called Highjacking
With Spybot Search and Destroy At http://www.safer-
networking.org/ Free Too. I Would Do Updates To It First
Then Run It Hopes This Helps!!!

P.s. I Would Run A Virus Scan Too Norton Or Trend Micro
