Hi,

my supplier installed a notebook for me where he disabled administrator
account and created admin account.
By accident I locked out my account and he did the same for admin one :)

Is there any way to get access to the notebook without reinstalling?

Many thanks

V.

I don't think there is a way. If the admin and
administrator accounts are locked out and there are no
other accounts in the administrators group you will have
to reinstall. I don't know if MS can help with that. If
they do it won't be cheap.

When you say you "locked out" your account, what do you mean exactly? Do
you mean that you forgot the password? If so, you can try cracking in
with the offline ntfs password cracker. I've used it successfully on
Win2k systems and have been told it also works on XP (haven't tried it
myself). Do a Google for it. Post back with exactly how you locked
yourself out for more specific help.
