disable windows xp start/programs auto-hide feature

One of the things I hate about Windows XP, the auto-hide "feature" of the
Start Button/Programs listing. Is there a utility that can disable this
feature (or a setting)?

Hi Steve. If I understand you correctly try:

Start\Control Panel\Taskbar and Start Menu

From there you should be able to navigate to whatever settings that
you prefer.
