disable windows media player

I'm using itunes for all my digital music/cd playing.
However, whenever I put a cd in windows media player
opens. How do I stop this from happening? I'm using
Windows Media Player 9.0 and windows xp. Thanks!

Tirn off the autostart feature for musical CD's; Download Tweakui from MS as
its the easiest way to do this.

Dave, if you don't want to download TweakUI, you can do this:
Start/My Computer/rightclick your CD-Rom drive/Properties/
AutoPlay tab/Select....music files/under Actions select iTunes if it is listed.
If it is not listed, then you'll have to set it as your default player within the program.
