disable tv out?

hi,
ive just put together an 'old' new pc from various bits and parts. works
fine except when i play a dvd using power dvd, it stops after a few seconds
and throws back an error message that it wont play whilst my video card is
enabling tv out (but it will play vcds - is it a macrovision thing...it
worked fine in another pc?

ive gone through the setup/properties etc for the card but cannot find a way
to disable this function? any ideas - thanks!

It is a Macrovision thing, but I can't tell you how to get around it. I can
tell you it doesn't happen on my Radeon 9500 using the latest Catalysts and
ATI's player.
