How to disable the animation of a tray icon (Viking)? There is no such
option in the (tray icon) program.

Your kindest most honest response will be appreciated.
 
Unless the program allows this as an option in the program
preferences/options you likely can not.

Right click on the tray (not on the clock). Properties. Customize. Make
sure hide when inactive is checked. Click on the offending icon and set it
as "always hide".
 
Hide "inactive" icons in the system tray does not hide animated icons as
they are never inactive to allow this to occur.
