That's a valid point Frank and only one problem with it. That is an existing
"User" setting and I think MS are reluctant to change user settings unless
they are brand new ones, which of course can be given a default like the
attachment blocking in OE6.
That was set to block and 1000's of people complained, because a familiar
behaviour changed, yet it is very much safer in terms of security. Changing
an existing setting is even worse in some ways, although I think in the case
of this debug setting a programmer would spot it immediately.
Wait and see what everybody else thinks.
