Disable or Remove Hibernate Mode.

Adam

Hello,
I've gone through the power options in control panel and
i've also made sure that my Crappy Logitech keyboard
software has been disabled for hibernate mode, but the
question I have is this.

How do I disable or Permanently remove the Hibernate mode
from my Windows XP Pro. Whenever I am running an
application and I mash the ( user ) or ( hibernate ) key,
my system goes into standby mode and I loose all the
information that I have been working on. Is there a
registry tweak to totally disable this? Support.ms.com
KB isn't addressing the issue and even Technet has no
answers for me.

Thank you in adavance.

Adam.

Rocky,

Can you help me. A few pc's on our network are going into a stand
by/hibernation mode when a user logs off the network. The power settings are
set so it will never turn off and hibernation is disabled. But the pc is
still going into a stand by mode/hibernation mode.

On our network we have domain admins and regular users. This is not a
problem when the domain admins log off the pc, but when the regular users log
off this is a problem. When the user logs off the pc will go into a stand by
mode and drop off the network. Any thoughts on how to fix this? Thanks.
