Disable or delete standard dictionary

Is there any way to disable the entire standard dictionary?

I wish to use a special list of words ( about 300 ) and only those words. I
would create a custom dictionary using a text editor but it doesn't seem
possible to use the exclude word function to cover all the words in the
current dictionary.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?dGlyZW1hbg==?=,

I don't think there's any good way to accomplish what you propose.

The problem is that the custom dictionary requires an activated "standard
dictionary", of some language, in order to be available. You can't use a
custom dictionary without the full dictionary.

It may be that the only possibility would be a macro that checks every word in
the document against your list. If it can't find the word, then it would be
highlighted, or something.

Thanks for the reply.
I was afraid that would be the case.

We will have to look at another word processor program for our usage.
