Hello,

I need to be able to disable Login script processing on
servers. I have been in one enviroment that this was
done. This was 2000 Servers. When a user has a login
script assigned to them and they login to a server a
message box says that "Login script processing has been
disabled on this server, click ok to continue" or
something like that. I dont think this is a group policy
and I dont know of any registry hacks that do this. Does
any one have and Ideas?

Thanks

How do you have your logon scripts set up? Are they configured in a GP or in
the users profile tab in AD users and computers?

If you are using policy, off of the top of my head I'd think loopback
processing could be used to block this.
For the profile tab, let me know....I'm not coming up with anything off of
the top of my head, but I can look into it a bit.

Most are specified in the users profile. What I need to
accomplish is disable login script processing period on
certain servers. We have had incidents where a login
script has done things on a server that we did not want to
happen. The users and login scripts are from a trusted
domain that we do not have control over.

Totally understood. I've seen situations like this before.
Are your logon scripts specific to the user, or do you have some that apply
to many users? How many different types of logon scripts are out there?
With that in mind I can probably throw a few ideas at ya that might
accomplish what you're looking for.
