Disable logging!

I do have a problem with the standard log files of windows xp, which
causes me a serious headache. Every system hive (SOFTWARE, SYSTEM,
SECURITY,...) in %Systemroot%\%System32%\config gets logged in the
same directory with the corresponding file name (SOFTWARE.log,
SYSTEM.log, ...). I do have to change either the location of the log
files or (this would be even better) disable this logging of the
registry. I searched the whole registry and of course there I can
change the location of the hives, but not the log files.

Any help would is thankfully accepted, because I am running out of
ideas and it got to be fixed until monday (which causes me even more
headache).

Best regards

PS: I have also posted in other groups. Sorry for this, but damn it´s
really important.

Hi Kelly,

it seems like NTFS journal, which is growing all time, also keeps the
Enhanced Write Filter (XP embedded) growing. Is it possible to disable
journaling function in NTFS completely, because this feature isn´t
needed in a stateless device (stateless meaning Compact Flash with
Enhanced Write Filter loosing all changes at every reboot).

Best regards
