My IP has a Mailscanner set for all customers. There is no way at this time
(new IP, only IP in my area other than dial up.... UGH) to turn this off
individually.

I'm am unable to view VB or Java scripts because of this, for email
stationery scripts. Is there anyway other way to disable the Mailscanner.
Any programs out there that anyone is aware of that would disable my IP
Mailscanner ?

Thanks
Thea

If your ISP has mail spam/virus filtering there is usually an option when
you logon via web access to modify the settings. If your ISP doesnt have any
options to edit the settings, then its a pretty bad ISP
No software that you install will have any effect on your ISP scanning,
after all they scan before they send to you.

It's unlikely that you can disable it. Your ISP may be willing to
disable it for you, if you ask them to do this. If not, you may need
to set up another email account, for example on Gmail, then
download the mail from the other account's server instead of your
ISP's server, to get what you want. Windows Mail can connect to
more than one set of mail servers at a time, so there's no need to
lose any mail sent to your ISP mail account.

These instructions cover both the IMAP method of connecting and
the POP method. Choose one of these, and don't get them mixed
up. Avoid any method that uses port 25.
