disable Disk Caching

I have a windows 2000 server with service pack 4 install.
I have a Seagate 36GB Cheetah U320 HDD, a Adaptec 2110S U160 SCSI Card. I am trying to disable my disk caching from the system. Each time I go to the properties of the HDD and unclick the disk caching. Once I exit from the dialog box and restart the server. The click is back to it again.
How can I stop this?? I want the disk caching to disable for good.
Please Help !!!!!

It's an option in the Adaptec bios setup (Ctrl-A during bootup).
Check the settings for individual SCSI ID's and set the caching
for your disk's ID to "N/C", which will use whatever cache setting
you specify in Windows. If it's already set to N/C then set it to
No or Disabled or Off (I forget which term is used).
