Disable Answering Feature

When online (AOL) call answering feature of XP disconnects me from internet.
When a call comes in a window opens and ask whether I want to take the call.
I can either accept or decline. Seconds later I am disconnected from the net.
How do I disable this feature. I have call AOL and they said it not their
product.

XP doesn't have a call answering feature.

You could disable call waiting by dialing *70 before the AOL number.
