Dis-connect during publish

This may not be related to Front Page and then again it might. I am on dial
up 56K Modem and whenever I use the publish feature to upload to my host
server, it loads the .htm pages ok but as soon as it gets to the images, it
bumps me off line so it takes me about 5 or 6 attempts to publish about 2mb.
As a test, I used WS_FTP using the same 2mb file and loaded it to my ISP
server. The ISP server does not have extensions so no fear of corrupting
anything. Not only did it load the files without incident but it did it much
faster than publishing via Front Page on its best day. I was so amazed that
I deleted all the files on the ISP Server and tried it again with similar
results. Then I went back to Front Page and tried to publish a small web and
I was immediately bumped off line. FP is loading at 1kbps and WS_FTP loads
at 5 to 6kpbs.

So, my question is this. Is it possible that something in Front Page 2003
is causing this?

There is a lot more going on with "Publish",also some
features in FrontPage can only be don thru "Publish". FTP
is faster, especially for a dialup connection.
