DirectX apps won't run on Terminal Server host

Hi,

When connected via RDP, I'm finding that the applications
on the remote (terminal server) host which utilize
DirectX (9.0b) won't run.

The problem only occurs during remote desktop connection.

Is there a way around it so that I can be remotely
connected but still run those applications?

Both machines are XP pro SP1a.

Nope,

Currently a limitation of the protocol/technology.

In fact, this limitation is one of the factors that is hurting sales of the
Windows "Smart Displays"

In some cases, certain video apps can be displayed windowed vs. fullscreen
on the remote monitor. However, most well designed apps recognize the RDP
connection and generate the appropriate error message.
