DirectX 9 problem using Geforce 4 Ti 8xAGP

Since installing DirectX 9 on my XP system im getting strange video problems
when playing games (Max Payne 2). These problems range from flickering to
polygon errors making the game unplayable. Does anyone else have any similar
problems with this video card?

btw, yes I am using the latest drivers.
