Evertjan.

I accidentally moved [by mouse] a directory with content
into a directory called c:\d8b1bd09f80d92066c

Now the directory is inaccessable and so immovable even under
safemode/administrator/consoleprompt.

The d8b* directory has the attribute A,
and that cannot be switched off,
but is that the problem, methinks not.

What can I do?

Any help would be appriciated.

You have to seize ownership of this folder - see here.

It took me some time to get enough courage,
but it is done now.

Thank you, Pegasus.
