directcd written cdr wont read on win xp

i burned plenty, and i mean PLENTY of cdrs w/ directcd on my windows me pc,
but my new pc runs win xp and wont read them! any help, patches plugs, codecs
anything!!!!

Do you have DirectCD installed on your Windows XP computer? If not you
probably need a udf reader installed in order to read those cds.

no directcd on win xp, any info on udf reader?

When burning disk with DirectCD, if you close the disk so "it can be read by any computer" then you
do not need directCD on the reading computer.

True, but if the OP didn't close the disks they can be read with Adaptec's
udf reader

hmmm still not working, any other avenues?
 


Can you install DirectCd on your XP computer or do you know anyone that has
it installed so that you may be able to read and recover your data ?

only my old pc, but i dont know if i have a disc...
