Direct parallel cable connection

I have connected two computers together with a direct
parallel cable connection. The connection icon on both
computers show that they are connected at 4.00 mbps. Now,
how do I transfer files from one to the other? I tried
the file transfer wizard but it seems to support only
serial cable connection.

Hi Hank,

Have you created one of the computer as host and another as guest? If the
connection is established you be able to browse the other computer, please
let me know the configuration details to help you further.

I have done this also. I have a desktop as host and laptop as guest. I can log in and connect the 2 computers at 4mb.

What program can I use to browse and copy these files?
