dimishing hard drive space

Mike

When win2K server was installed on the computer the
harddrive space was partition to be only 2GB. Now after
many windows patch and update it has gone down to 500MB.
Is there a way to save the configuration of the whole
server (ie. AD, FSMO, etc) and increase the partition
without installing PartitionMagic because there is not
enough space? Thanks.
 
Hi Mike,
The only "good" way to do this is to:
- Perform a full, System State backup (back up *everything*).
- Re-partition the drive (or add a new drive and partition it)
- Perform a clean installation of Windows 2000
- Restore the backup "on top of" the clean install of Win2K.
