Hi folks,
Anyone know if Microsoft have any software that allows creators of music to
encode their music so that only users with a license can play the encoded
music?
I am slowly putting together an website to showcase my music, and would also
like to find out if there is a packgae available that can manage sales of
digital content, in addition to what I described above, doing things like:
* Creating a database of encoded music files allowing limited listening
privalleges to anonymous users, and full listening privalleges to members.
That would involve streaming content rather than downloading.
* Choice of streaming bandwidths
* Creating users accounts
* Verifying user logins and download credentials
* Allowing a certian number of downloads of a specific product
* Billing and subscription functions
I'm sure there are other important features, but this is all I could think
of for now. Anyone know of any products that could handle this?
