Digital ID

For reasons I won't get into, I am trying to forward an email I received to
myself. Have done this many times. In fact, just a couple of days ago. Now
it's giving me the following message:

"To send a signed or encrypted message you must first obtain a digital ID."

Can anyone tell me what to do?

Tools Menu of the message window>deselect 'digitally sign'.
