DIGITAL CAMERA PROBLEM

I HAVE JUST PUCHASED A DIGITAL CAMERA. A FUJI FINEPIXE
A205s, I HAVE INSTALLED ALL THE SOFT WEAR. BUT FIND THAT
THE FINE PIXVIEWER TO VIEW THE PHOTO'S, DOES NOT OPEN
WHEN I CONNECT THE CAMERA VIA THE USB CABLE AS STATED.

I AM RUNNING ON XP HOME ADDITION.

WHEN I LOAD THE SAME SOFT WEAR ON A SYSTEM RUNNING
WINDOWS 2000 IT OPERATES CORRECTLY.ANY ONE GOT ANY IDEAS.

Make sure the USB is turned on in Bios Settings.

I have the Finepix A202 and had some problems with the
viewer too. I found that the fuji website was very helpful
(don't know if you've tried it), there are some upgrades
to the finepix viewer there. My problem was similar to
yours and I managed to find out the problem on the
webpage. Try it and I hope it works for you, it did for
me. www.fujifilm.com
If you go to the support page and type in 'windows xp' it
finds info on what may be the problem. Some of the discs
supplied with the cameras is not compatible with XP. This
is on their website, I have found it tonight.
