Difficulty graphing?

I am trying to make a chart showing the absobance of 5 different pH levels. I want the x axis to be the time of 0, 5 and 10 minutes. I want the y axis to be the absorbance. Excel will only allow 3lines or bars per set and defaults my x axis to the 5 pH levels and makes my minutes into the bars or lines? Please help.

Set up your data like this:

pH(1) pH(2) pH(3) pH(4) pH(5)
0 [values in the columns under the pH levels]
5 [ ]
10 [ ]

Select this entire range and start the chart wizard. Choose an XY
Scatter chart in Step 1. In Step 2, select the Series in Columns option
(I suspect this is where you went awry: if you don't specify, Excel
always orients the plotting of data within a range to make fewer series
of more points each).
