I see it is very easy to get passwords wrong. Should I set an Administrator
or User first? Do I use Safe Mode for either? Which is used with the
Screensaver, and which as the Log-on. I am a single owner.

You "should" set a password for any user account on your system.
Administrator is a user account. Each account will then have its own
password. As for the secrrensaver, if you have your screensaver password
protected, you would use the same password as you did to log on.
