Different worm?

Why does my system shut down on its own but with no error
message? It doesn't reboot on its own as others have
described the current virus to do. Mine just shuts
down. I have to hit the power yet nothing abnormal
appears in the process. Is this a different version of
the current worm? I update anti-virus and keep up-to-
date on XP updates.

Search your hard drive for msblast.exe. If you find it, then you have
the same virus as everyone else and can follow the same directions. See

If you find some different clues, please let us know. I'm expecting to
see more vicious exploits now that msblast.exe has turned out to be such
an incompetent virus.

Thanks, but no luck. I'm also different in that it seems
to shut down after a period of no use...but not always.
I can leave it for 10min when it shuts down or it will
stay on for hours sometimes. Any other ideas?
