Different signs

Can someone tell me why when I try to put the number sign in a slash comes
up.
Everything above the numbers that I use shift for are different than it says

Probably you have different keyboard settings than your actual keyboard.
Check Control Panel-Keyboard-Input Locales-Properties.

Possibly you've selected the US International or some other keyboard in
Control Panel | Regional Options | Input Locales.
