Differences between XP Pro and XP Pro x64?

Where can I find the differences between XP Pro and XP Pro x64?
Would it be anywhere on MS website?

Not really. One runs on 64 bit systems and is made for it. The other runs on
most 64 bit systems but isn't optimized for it.

I was hoping for a little more detail, like, if I do a DIR/S in the root
directory of each cd, will the list of files be exactly the same?
Is every file/program on the x64 cd compiled for the x64 arch?
Which 64 bit compiler/development environment did MS use to
make the cd?

No, not really the same contents. There are things like WOW32 and stuff
added for legacy support, different drivers and such... Image files, of
course, will be different. You'll probably get the nitty gritty details
you're looking for in the
