Difference Domain

2 workstations (WK01 & WK02).
WK01 joined to DOMAIN01 & USER01 account login.
WK02 joined to DOMAIN02 & USER02 account login.
USER02 wants to shared a folder & give all rights to USER01.
Can this be done?

When USER01 tried to accessWK02, it prompts an error:
"servername is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource......"

Both DOMAIN01 & DOMAIN are child domain and are in the same forest.

I am not sure why you would want to share a folder on a workstation. I
would think that you would want to do this on a server ( probably the server
that also functions as the File Server in your environment...... ).

I would think - assuming that you are doing this on a server in domain02 -
that you could simply add a security group from domain02 that includes
either user account objects ( not the better way to do this normally ) or a
security group ( the better way to do this normally ) from domain01 on both
the NTFS and Security permissions. That is, unless you use the default
EVERYONE group....

You should be able to do it the other way around as well!

Aside from the rather odd nature of this setup, yes, it can be done.
You either simply type DOMAIN01\USER01 in the dialog box for changing
the ACL, or you select the other domain from the "locations" section
of the dialog.

Am I misunderstanding what you're asking?
