Difference between shared folders

What is the difference between these two folders which I can navigate
to in the folder tree in Windows Explorer as follows:

(1) Desktop > My Computer > C: > Shared Dcouments

(2) Desktop > My Computer > C: > My Shared Folder

I am gettign all muddled up and I would appreciate any clarification!
