I updated the spyware database after installing "Antispy"
and set the option to scan my computer at 2:00 AM as
suggested. Just to double check I ran "Adaware 6.0" the
following morning, it found 8 spyware infections, all
common and I hadn't been on the internet yet. If this
product is going to succeed it must be up to date.

Gary, MSAS Beta 1 does not search for cookies. If that is what you are
finding from Ad-aware then I would not worry about it. You should really
update Ad-Aware 6.0 to the new version of Ad-Aware SE ver. 1.05. Data miners
are cookies and really do no harm to your system. You can always remove all
cookies by opening Internet Explorer and clicking on tools/internet
options/general tab/delete cookies and then run Ad-aware again to see if
anything shows up then.
