Did one of the myriads of updates eat my folder?

LOL, just have to wonder about this!

For some reason, ever since I was alerted to and completed numerous "Critical Windows
Updates" the other day (Win XP SP2), there appear to have been some alterations to my
folders made. The one which stands out the most, especially since I use it to snag
multiple files from websites is my "Temporary Internet Folder." Has it been relocated
to a ""WWPP" (Website Witness Protection Program) somewhere in the deep, dank, scary
corners of Windows Hades? Or is it not just "hidden" -- even though my settings allow
all hidden files and folders -- but lost? Hmmmm, perhaps there is a small hatch
somewhere for me to retrieve the poor sad thing! *g*

Okay, have hopefully made you smile -- so ..... now, give it up! Where the heck has
my folder been taken to?!

is easy to check as
the location and the
size is user customizable.

the stats for it can
be found in the internet
options control panel.
you can run: inetcpl.cpl
and look in the browsing
history feaure.

there you can find the
location of the cache and give you
the option to move it or leave it.
also, be sure it is set to at least
200 megabytes of space.

you can create a link
to internet options on your
desktop to allow easy access
and convenient clearing of
the temp files. i also
use ccleaner to make it
easier to clear out...
