DiamondCS Autostart Viewer (& manager) - 50+ Locations

This startup manager has been mentioned in passing in a couple of
threads (2 in Google ng archive), but I haven't seen any extensive
discussion. Given the upcoming vote, I thought I'd ask for feedback,
particularly comparisons.

Autostart Viewer
"Freeware Autostart Viewing & Control Tool for Windows"
"This software is 100% free! You can use the software as long as you
want, and there are no restrictions."

Very nice indeed. I was going to say - nice but incomplete as it does
not show Windows NT services, but I was wrong. It does - when selected
from the MAIN menu. So, very nice - and very complete it seems. Did a
quick visual comparison with the entries I found with RegRun
(shareware app I prefer for startup management) and could not see
anything missing in Autostart Viewer.

Since this app does not seem to require installation - it can also be
very handy to include on a floppy/rescue disk for the times you need
to help others with their Windows setups.

Suggest you nominate it - if you haven't already.

All the best,
Bjorn Simonsen
