Dialup connection

When I open Windows Explorer the dial up connection box
comes up. How do I find what program want's to connect so
I can stop this? I have the settings on always dial my
default connection and my location unchecked in dial up
preferences in network connections.

Go through everything that starts up when your comp boots
and check their settings.
