Dialog boxes and text are black

Hi, I have a user that somehow set his appearance settings to black. I see a
black dialog box but that is it, no text to be seen. The desktop is black
also except for icons. If I log on as a different user, everything is fine.
How can I set his Display properties back to default XP? Any help would be
appreciated. TIA

Log on as that user.

Right click Desktop | Properties | Desktop tab |
Change Color to other than black

Appearance tab | Advanced tab | Click the V under Item to expand the menu,
select items one at a time and change any Color 1 to anything besides black.

Log on as Administrator. Place a shortcut to:

"C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Luna\luna.msstyles"

in the malfunctioning user's Startup folder.

Log back on as the user, display properties will come up, press enter to reset the theme.
