Dialing properties being ignored when dialling from Outlook.

Hi,

Im trying to dial my personal contacts in Outlook through a PBX which
requires a 9 to get an outside line. I have found that when you try and dial
a contact and have configured the dialling properties to insert the 9 for
you, Outlook ignores the dialling properties.

The only way it will work is to renumber all your Contact telephone numbers
to include the 9, not good when you have 300 or so.

Any help would be apprciated.

Processing Dialing properties requires that the number be stored in
international format. Is it?

Hi Russ,

Do you mean is the Dialling properties number in international format or the
contact?

If its the contact, then the number isjust typed as dialled, i.e. 07967
234567.

That's the problem then. The number in Outlook must be in international
format:
Details on how to use international format to invoke dialing rules are
