hey there,
Mroblem is very simple. since 2 days my Dial-up Icon disappears by itself
from the taskbar while i am conected to the internet. The Only way to close
the connection is to unplug the wire or to restart my computer.
Can anyone Help me please??? Is there maybe a Auto dialer installed that
disconects me promptly and reconects with a long distance numeber??
Help would be greatly apreciated.

1. Click Start - Connect To - Show All Connections. If it is not there then
open my Network Places and then click Show All Connection from Left Side Task
Pane window.
2. Right-click on your Internet Connection and choose Properties.
3. Make a check mark on "Show icon in Notification area when connected.

Hope this information helps you, let us know!

RajKohli,
Thanx for the help. But The box is allready checked. It just happend to me
againand i went to check on it further. When i go to Network Connections,
the connection icon is there, but is not ACTIVE even though i am connected. I
can even double click it and it opens normaly asking me if i want to dial.
When i click Dial, The window just closes. If i take another connection and
try to dial it shows me the Open Port Error Modem is beeing used by another
program, which is normal since i am allready connected. I went into the
Options of my connection, while connected and clicked on all the tabs. When I
closed the options, All of a sudden the Icon Appeared in the Taskbar and the
connection became Active.
Realy Strange... Maybe you know a solution or have heard of this before?
Maybe it's in conflict with one of the recent updates i installed for
windows or IE 7 Beta2, Also isntalled Live Toolbar, and Get Right. Maybe it's
one of these programs that create a conflict.
Let me know if you have any help.
Thanx a lot.
Michael
