I am attempting to use Outlook and Business Contact Manager to call a Business Contact and record a Phone Log of the call attached to that Business Contact
From the Business Contact View window, if I select the Actions > Call Account menu selection, I get the "New Call" dialog. If I click on Start Call, the modem dials and I am connected. Not a problem
However, if I want to create a Phone Log entry for this call, it doesn't appear that I can do so from the New Call dialog, since the checkbox for "Create a new Journal Entry..." will create an entry in the Personal Folders > Journal folder, and not the Business Contact Manager folder tree (where BCM seems to never venture from). Every attempt I have tried to connect a Journal Entry to a Business Contact has failed (even though it appears to be possible, given the fact that you can select a Business Contact to attach the Journal Entry to..
Currently, I have to return to the Business Contact window, click on "Add" under Business Contact History, then select "Phone Log" to create a phone log of the call
Is there any way to do this more efficiently that I'm not seeing?
