Diagnostic Traces

Hi all,
Iam using a DELL 6000 Inspiron Notebook with Windows XP Professional
OS. For some days, i have been seeing a start up window with title
"Diagnostic Traces" and its a black window with details like "SSDIAG
Activated" ...I thought it was coming because of some software download
or something. But now i doubt its kind of virus or a worm in my system.
Am i being exposed to hackers? I have to be online most of the time.
Can i still have it? So, someone please help me with this problem.
