Diagnostic Traces? DrvmCDB? Frequent freezes?

Every time i turn on or restart my computer, there are two windows which open
automatically. they have done this for about a week now and i dont know why.
The first window is called DrvmCDB, and the next is called Diagnostic Traces.
They each have tons of text in them. White text on a black background. It
appears to be DOS but i didnt know that Windows XP came with DOS. The text of
both windows is in computer languages and does not mean anything that i can
understand. it seems to be some sort of log of some automatic actions or
something. I would like to know what these actually mean and if there is some
problem with my computer?
I have been experiencing some problems with my computer lately. Every once
in a while my mouse cursor will cease to do anything. i can move it around
the screen, but i cannot click on anything and no matter what i move the
cursor over, it does not change. When it does that, no keyboard shortcuts
work either and i must force off my computer. Does anyone know what the
problem could be? Please help me, my computer is not even 2 years old and i
am starting to think it could be already time for a new one?
