I would like some input about the following errors that consistantly appear
in the performance event log. This is windows vista home premium.
Some personal info has been removed. Thanks.

Well, Is someone going come back on this?? I need to know these things
myself. My Event viewer for operational Diagnostics-Performance is doing the
same. I have tons of Boot,Standby,Shutdown's with Errors, warnings & Critical.
I am running Windows vista home premium as well, on a New Gateway GT5408 With
vista installed at purchase.
I have other troubles as well with vista. I can't injoy using my programs
for looking up what's going on with this computer.
Some help would be great!
Thanks

I'm also getting event id 100, 400, and others in the Diagnostics-
Performance log on Vista Home Premium on a new Thinkpad T61. And when
I click to ask it to go to MS and get more info on what they mean, it
consistently (for every one of the many I've tried) says there is no
information available. Since some of these are labeled "Critical", it
would please me to know what h*** they mean.

I know this is a very old thread but I just got a new HP m8100y computer and
have had it a week. I have a long string of bootup and shutdown errors also
and they appeared at first bootup with nothing installed by me...fresh from
the HP elves and their soldering irons.
These performance errors make my bootup and shutdown twice as slow as my old
XP...didn't think that would be possible.
Is Microsoft EVER going to FIX these problems?
