Diagnosing system freezes

Hello,

We are trying to diagnose some system freezes in which
Win2K becomes extremely unresponsive for 10 seconds to over
a minute.

We have perfmon running, and during these "freezes",
perfmon logs no data at all.

Any suggestions on how to track this down further?

If the freeze is random, but fairly constant, try running in safe mode. If
it no longer occurs its likely to be a driver.
Or does it only occur whilst using one app?
